1/15/22 - Weekend Listening from Intercontinental Exchange
Our guests this week: Chart Industries CEO Jill Evanko and Nick DeIuliis, CEO of CNX Resources
When my New England Patriots visit the Buffalo Bills for their AFC wildcard game in Orchard Park, NY tonight, the wind chill at kickoff is expected to be in the minus 10-15 degree range.
You’d have to go back 28 years to find a colder NFL game in Buffalo. When the Raiders came to town for a divisional playoff in 1994, the thermometer read minus-32. The frosty weather didn’t deter Bills QB Jim Kelly, who passed for 287 yards as the Bills notched a 29-23 victory.
Tonight, my money’s on Mac Jones and Bill Belichick. I’m hopeful, but I may find myself shipping another carton of clam chowder to my counterparty. Again.
No matter how cold tonight’s game might get, it’ll feel like beach weather compared to the inside of a liquid oxygen system from Chart Industries (NYSE: GTLS). Chart’s technology and systems have been vital to hospitals and health care workers during the response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It’s just a part of Chart’s unique product portfolio that’s used in every phase of the liquid gas supply chain. Chart CEO Jill Evanko stopped in the library of the New York Stock Exchange for this week’s episode, bringing us on a tour of Chart City, the many ways we interact with her products every day.
